Shakirov Karimzhan Nurumovich, the Doctor of Law, the professor, the Honorary academician APN RK, the member of the European Academy of Law (Budapest), the expert in the field of criminal procedure, criminalistics and forensic examination, has more than 260 publications among which 7 monographs, over 40 educational, training and educational manuals, more than 170 scientific articles devoted to actual questions of international policy, law, criminal procedure, criminalistics, forensic examination, and also to problems of development of higher education system in Kazakhstan. On practical scientific work occupied a post of the teacher of department of criminalistics of the Kazakh State University of S.M. Kirov (1979-1990); after completion of postgraduate study on the given department and protection of the dissertation he passed to the post of the head of department of the scientific information and generalization of expert practice in the Kazakh Research Institute of forensic expertise of Ministry of Justice RK (1990- 1993); he also held posts: the adviser of the vice-president of Constitutional Court RK, the head of department of scientific generalization of constitutional practice (1993-1994); the head of a legal information sector of Information-analytical institute of the Kazakh National Academy of Justice. From 2009 to 2017 K.N. Shakirov worked as the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. During this period he continued the traditions established at the faculty, based on the broad involvement in the educational process of innovative technologies, expanding international relations in order to improve the quality of training of specialists in international relations. In particular, continued close cooperation with the embassies of the United States, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Russia, Japan, China, India, the Republic of Korea, other European and Asian countries, international organizations (UN, UNDP, OSCE, EU, NATO, Red Cross), with foreign missions and companies, research, cultural centers and foundations, such as DAAD, Goethe Institute, Friedrich Ebert Foundation, Konrad Adenauer Foundation and others. Since 2017 Shakirov K.N. has moved to the position of professor of the International Law Chair of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, and in 2017 he was appointed as a full-time director of the "G-Global" Assistance Center at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
